Spots and stripes dog

We are teaching 1º Primaria the concepts "spots and stripes", that´s why I´ve decided to make a dog and make students to cut spots out of magazines and glue them on the dog outline. Then, with some cereals or thread, we can make the dog´s stripes.

This is how it can look like, it´s very simple and original and children enjoyed it a lot.

Humpty dumpty

This week we´re going to start with Humpty Dumpty as an Art/Literacy project. 

To start in Literacy we´ll read aloud the rhyme of Humpty Dumpty and ask them about what they think it speaks about.

We should explain the basic vocabulary and make some games so they remember the items.

Next, we´ll present Humpty Dumpty´s video clicking on the image.

 To finish, they will complete the following task.
